Taught from both a developers and end user's view point this course will demystify the complexities of this application. Learn to understand what relational database design is why it is important to plan your database before entering data. Learn about the how relationships are created and what they mean, learn about the tools; forms, tables, reports, queries and how to use the automated Access tools to get stuff quicker. Learn how to create your own custom object, learn about bound and unbound objects, learn about data integrity, data masks, learn some basic SQL and expressions, use the summary tools to summarize data in reports, use filtering to filter off data, create data entry forms, create a custom switch board, learn to use the templates in Access, customize ready to use applications for your own use and much more.

Students will work on exercises that will re-enforce lessons, comes complete with a workbook.
